It was an honor to represent LISC LA at the 18th Annual LABC Sustainability Summit, supporting the leadership of Chair Bob Graziano (JPMorganChase) as we work collaboratively on sustainability goals that positively impact economic development and Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) businesses and communities across Los Angeles County. We had the pleasure of hearing from Senator Alex Padilla as well as connecting with so many inspiring leaders, including Phoebe Wang, (Amazon Climate Pledge Fund), Joy Langford (ARCHES H2), Thomas Wong (Mayor, City of Monterey Park), Ross Starrh (Valta Energy), Joseph S. Avila (Blue Laser Fusion), Stella Ursua (GRID Alternatives), Ryan Robinson (University of Southern California Executive Director, Principal Gifts, Sustainability), Mick Dalrymple, LEED Fellow (Chief Sustainability Officer, USC), and Rita Kampalath (Chief Sustainability Officer, Los Angeles County). A special thanks to the team at Fox Corporation Studios for the well-executed tour of its historic property — which will be a shining example of how sustainability and innovation can be integrated with rich history. These connections reaffirm the power of partnerships in advancing clean energy and sustainability with economic development. Specializing in roofing, waterproofing, wall panel, and architectural sheet metal, AME has been growing steadily.
