📈 The latest Road to Recovery report from Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University and American Institutes for Research examines 2022-23 academic recovery efforts, including tutoring, small group instruction, after-school programs, digital learning, extended school years, double-dose classes, and expert teacher interventions. 🚀 "The most significant impacts resulted from tutoring and small group programs that served few students and provided 30 or more hours of additional instruction per year." 🚨 Breaking News in Education 🚨 We're thrilled to announce the results of a pilot study conducted by Brown University researchers Matthew A. Kraft and Virginia Lovison, Ph.D., in collaboration with Littera Education. The study explores the impact of student-tutor ratios on middle school students' math achievement during online tutoring. Key Findings 1️⃣ The study adds valuable insights to the growing literature on the effectiveness of online tutoring programs. 2️⃣ 1:1 online tutoring is shown to be effective for accelerating student achievement in middle school math. 3️⃣ Tutor feedback revealed the importance of designing tutoring platforms and curricular materials with specific student-tutor ratios in mind.
