Albert Bernal, Senior Program Manager at Love Never Fails, was recently invited to attend a congressional roundtable to address human trafficking! Read what he had to say about the experience: "During my visit to Washington DC, I had the opportunity to attend a congressional roundtable that brought together some of the most dedicated individuals working to combat child sex trafficking across the country. The anti-trafficking community, though small, is incredibly resilient and determined to protect vulnerable children. It’s clear that Love Never Fails is part of the modern-day Underground Railroad, helping to rescue and restore the lives of those affected by this horrific crime. One of the highlights of the roundtable was hearing from Tim Tebow, who is sponsoring the Senate Bill called "The Renewed Hope Act." This critical legislation is designed to strengthen the search and rescue efforts for missing and exploited children. Right now, the reality is staggering—there are only 2 detectives assigned to handle the overwhelming caseload of over 200,000 missing children across the country. With the passage of the Renewed Hope Act, this number would increase to 200 detectives, ensuring a stronger national response to finding and recovering our nation’s children. The need for action has never been more urgent, and at Love Never Fails, we remain committed to playing our part in this fight for justice and hope." #CongressionalHearing #EndHumanTrafficking #RenewedHopeAct #SaveOurChildren #LoveNeverFails
