Kurt started his career at the former Olson Engineering in 1984 as a land surveyor, then due to client demand he “simply” tacked on a professional engineering license a few years down the line. Ever since, he’s served the community as both a surveyor and an engineer on hundreds of projects. Kurt, you are a true icon. Last week we attended the Trek at Tehaleh Grand Opening! This mountain bike park stretches across 204 acres of land on the wooded slopes overlooking the Orting Valley, the Carbon River, and the Puyallup River in the South Sound region. MacKay Sposito was responsible for coordinating all aspects of the design between Brookfield Properties, Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, Pierce County Parks, and Pierce County Development Engineering. Last week our Pasco office joined forces with 2nd Harvest, an incredible non-profit organization that brings community resources together to feed people in need. We had the honor of supporting bread day, where we helped package a total of 9,257 pounds of bread, which equates to 7,714 meals for the community! 2nd Harvest gathers food from grocery stores that would otherwise be wasted and distributes it throughout the Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho communities.
