🌟Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to travel down to Louisiana as part of a DOE-funded program run by Newlab, where Mantel was selected as one of only nine startups to help commercialize transformative technologies in the region. During my visit, I had the chance to meet with local stakeholders, share Mantel's vision, and discuss how our molten borate technology can play a pivotal role in decarbonizing some of Louisiana’s most critical industries. The energy and enthusiasm from everyone we met were truly inspiring, and it was a privilege to pitch Mantel’s innovative solution on such a platform. ICYMI: Two amazing companies at The Engine Accelerator, Mantel and Circe both received grants to reduce carbon emissions in manufacturing. Circe will use $1.5M to build out manufacturing for its carbon-negative fermentation process for producing triglycerides and other compounds. Mantel will employe $450K to prototype an electric-powered molten borate carbon capture system. These grants grow our member companies’ team sizes, partnerships, manufacturing capabilities, and impact in #ToughTech!
