Entrepreneurship is a craft that can be taught. Our focus is the education of MIT students to whom we provide proven frameworks, courses, co-curricular programs, state-of-the-art facilities, advisory services, and processes to create a rigorous, practical, customized, and integrated educational experience. We accept and welcome our leadership role to advance the field at MIT as well as globally. Trust Center Values include: MIT STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE AND RIGOR: We provide the highest-quality education, advising, and practical experiences. COLLABORATION: We work closely with other MIT departments, labs, centers, and groups to connect students with the best entrepreneurship programming across the Institute. DIVERSITY: Entrepreneurship requires diversity of opinion and diversity of people. Throughout our courses, advising, and programming, we combine a range of critical perspectives. EXPERIMENTATION: Each year we try new programs and activities. If we fail, we learn in the process. When we succeed, we aim to scale rapidly. HONEST BROKER: Neither the Center nor its faculty or staff take a "piece" of the new companies that we nurture and assist. Our only goal is the student's long-term entrepreneurial success. MENS ET MANUS: True to the motto of MIT, in all of our courses and throughout our activities, we operate on a hybrid model that fuses academic and practitioner perspectives.

Half way through the summer and our delta v NYC home this summer couldn't be working out better. Thanks to everyone at Nomadworks for making a bunch of MIT student founders feel at home for starting their ventures!
The MIT delta v NYC program is BACK!! 🚀 The teams this year span industries from fintech to healthtech to edtech, from platforms to B2B to consumer, and they have hit the ground absolutely sprinting 🏃🏽♀️ Our home for the summer is the fabulous Nomadworks office. And we are so lucky to have delta v alumni Jared Ray Johnson and Emily Young join as EIRs to help the teams on their journey. We have our first board meetings this week to talk about all things Customer. Our programming this month included experts who came to our space to talk through startup legal 101 (thanks Scott Smedresman), customer interviews, synthesizing your primary market research (thanks Frank Tisellano Sid Salvi), picking the right customer (thanks Sam Feder), and importantly- cofounder relationships (thanks Elaine Wang). Looking forward to updating you on the teams’ progress throughout the summer. "Even if you’re ready for an electric vehicle, your home may not be. Stepwise developed a smart power monitor that sits between the electrical panel and the EV charger. It measures total amps flowing through the panel and can automatically keep the EV charger from exceeding the panel’s limits" As many as 50 million homes 🏠 in the US will struggle with expensive electric panel upgrades. Our deployments in greater Boston and Rhode Island have generated ~$7K of savings for homeowners per installation. Read more about our solution in this week's Boston Globe Technology. Happy 1st day to our Pozen Fellows this summer, beginning their 10-week internships today working with a diverse array of MIT delta v startup companies. One of our most popular programs, this year with 150+ students applying for 1 of 10 positions, all generously funded by MIT Senior Lecturer Bob Pozen. It's a win-win: undergraduate students get real-world, impactful work experience & our alumni companies benefit by having some of the smartest workers available for no cost to their bottom line at a time when such talent is most crucial for their early stages.
