Our Women’s & Children’s teams are dedicated to the highest standards of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies, providing an environment that supports breastfeeding while respecting every woman’s right to make the best decision for herself and her family.

Seven dedicated students from the McLeod Health Youth Apprenticeship program successfully completed their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification at Florence-Darlington Technical College. These students underwent an intensive 8-week training program, demonstrating remarkable commitment and perseverance. They now have the exciting opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge as Medical Surgical Technicians at McLeod Regional Medical Center. This accomplishment not only highlights their hard work but also the strength of our apprenticeship programs in preparing young individuals for impactful careers in healthcare. The Apprenticeship graduates are juniors in high school representing Darlington High School, The King’s Academy, Lake City High School, Marion High School, Mayo School for Math Science & Technology, Mullins High School and Virtus Academy.

McLeod Primary Care Cheraw welcomes Dr. Kwame Brown, who joins Dr. Susan Robins and Jackie Stafford, DNP, in caring for patients. Dr. Brown joined the Cheraw community three years ago as part of the McLeod Family Medicine Rural Residency Program. Dr. Brown is accepting new patients.
