September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re proud to support the fight against this disease! The evening will start with cocktails and mingling, followed by an impactful panel discussion on the significance of education and awareness. 🌟Intern Spotlight 🌟 We’re shining a spotlight on our amazing interns for the summer: Kathryn Stein and Mia Castro! 📺 Kathryn is a rising junior at the University of Miami, majoring in public relations, broadcast journalism and marketing. She’s an executive producer for UM’s award-winning TV channel, UMTV and a key player in the President’s 100 ambassador program. Kathryn is also a representative of the Dean’s Student Circle and enjoys being part of the Women’s Club Ice Hockey Team. Growing up in Wilton, CT, she now loves attending country concerts, working at The Pompano and spending time with friends, family and her two dogs. 🏀 Mia is a rising senior at Indiana University, pursuing a degree in public relations with minors in sports management and marketing. She’s actively involved in PRSSA, intramural basketball and soccer, the Retail Studies Organization, and Gamma Phi Beta. Mia grew up in Elgin, IL, a Northwest Chicago suburb, and has always considered Chicago a second home. She’s passionate about how sports bring people together and enjoys reading, music and exploring new adventures in her free time.
