MVP Health Care has been made aware of fraudulent individuals posing as MVP Human Resources representatives through fake e-mail addresses and text messaging systems. This is an issue we take very seriously, and we work with the appropriate authorities to report these scams. Here are a few things to be aware of to help identify recruitment fraud: MVP will only communicate with applicants through emails generated by a @MVPHealthCare.com domain or via our Dayforce tracking system ([email protected]). Additionally, at no point in MVP’s hiring process will an MVP recruiter ever ask you to make any type of payment to be considered for a role. If you receive an email or text message claiming to be from MVP Health Care that asks for payment-related or personal information and you are concerned about its legitimacy, you may notify us by emailing [email protected]. We were proud to partner with Open Door Family Medical Center for its Healthier Mamaroneck Access to Care health fair, which offered health screening services for blood pressure, BMI, vision, diabetes, and confidential HIV testing and COVID vaccinations. We are dedicated to increasing access for community members to essential medical services by meeting them where they are. Together with Albany County, NY and American Heart Association, we are proud to announce that we will host a hands-only CRP training at the The MVP Arena on September 29th from 9:30-3:30. MVP and Albany County through the Innovation Partnership will also donate a limited number of American Heart Association CPR & First Aid Youth Sports Training Kits to Albany County youth sports teams on that day. “At MVP Health Care, our mission is to build healthy communities and by providing life-changing opportunities like this CPR Day, we are furthering that goal,” said MVP Health Care’s President, Richard Dal Col, MD, MPH. “Together with the American Heart Association and Albany County, our intent of this event is to increase equitable access to life-saving techniques in an emergency. Hands-only CPR is an extremely valuable skill that anyone can learn and perform, and we encourage everyone to join us as we equip those in the Capital Region with the means to truly make a difference in someone’s life.” Nearly 350,000 people suffer out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrest each year. Only 10% survive. Having CPR performed doubles or triples the chances of surviving sudden cardiac arrest. Since most sudden cardiac arrests happen in the home, the Innovation Partnership and the American Heart Association are working together to train 600 people in Hands-Only CPR on Sunday, Sept. 29.
