Dr. Cosby earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, and then completed his family medicine residency at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta. When he’s not at work, Dr. Cosby enjoys spending time with his high school sweetheart, who is now his wife, and their two children. Vascular surgeon William Zickler, MD, has joined NGPG Vascular Center and is now seeing patients in Gainesville and Dawsonville. Dr. Zickler is a second-generation vascular surgeon who has family ties to the region, and he earned his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta. He completed a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, one of the top vascular programs in the world. Dr. Zickler says he strives to create a welcoming environment for patients that promotes comfort and ease. Welcome to the team, Dr. Zickler! Angela Anderson, FNP, is joining our family medicine practice in Winder, inside NGMC Barrow! We're excited to have Angela joining us, after spending the past 10 years with NGPG Urgent Care. Congratulations to Dr. Terence Jackson, a gastrointestinal surgical oncologist with NGPG, on performing his first histotripsy procedure! The innovative and non-invasive procedure uses focused ultrasound waves to destroy cancer cells in the liver without needles or incisions. We are proud to have two physicians at NGPG, Dr. Nelson Royall and, now, Dr. Jackson, performing histotripsy procedures. They are some of the only physicians in the world trained to perform this procedure, and we are fortunate to have them work in our community.

NGPG Vascular Center, an integral part of Georgia Heart Institute, welcomes Angie Rodriguez, PA, to serve patients in our Buford and Braselton locations. A board-certified physician assistant who is fluent in both English and Spanish, Angie has more than six years' experience in vascular surgery. She earned her bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and completed her professional education at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York.
