Career progression in the drilling industry - how does it work? Recently Noble's Carl Lyle and Buford Sullivent spoke to Stephen Whitfield with Drilling Contractor, Official Magazine of IADC about our subsea training program and how program graduates improve the quality of Noble's offshore talent while also seeing a clear path for advancement. The program provides training across classroom settings, at OEM facilities, and on the rig. We're so proud of our graduates and honored that they choose to grow their careers at Noble. The beauty of Curacao's beaches is a treasure that requires constant care. The crew of the Noble Voyager took this to heart after arriving in Willemstad recently, and volunteered for a litter pickup project. Included in this extension is an additional unpriced option for a further five wells. • Noble Innovator: Extended by bp in the UK North Sea from May 2025 through December 2025 at a priced option dayrate of $155,000. Priced options remain into July 2026. • Noble Regina Allen: Two well options exercised by TotalEnergies offshore Argentina, for an estimated term of 60 days at a dayrate of $150,000. • Noble Resilient: One well with Harbour Energy in the UK at a dayrate of $140,000. Commencement in direct continuation of the Wintershall contract. • Noble Resolve: One well with Zenith offshore Poland for an estimated 45 days at a dayrate of $140,000, plus mobilization and demobilization. Thirteen well P&A campaign with an undisclosed operator offshore Spain for an estimated term of 170 days at a dayrate of $149,000, plus mobilization and demobilization.

Today we announced our earnings for the second quarter of 2024. Noble's CEO Robert Eifler commented: “Our second quarter results reflect a strong earnings improvement driven by key contract startups, resulting in a 48% sequential improvement in Adjusted EBITDA. To that end, the 25% increase to our quarterly dividend to $0.50 per share in Q3 further demonstrates Noble’s return of capital commitment. We are extremely excited to be progressing toward closing the highly accretive acquisition of Diamond, which represents a critical milestone in our First Choice journey through the formation of an industry-leading deepwater fleet and a strong free cash generation and return of capital platform.” Noble's backlog as of July 31, 2024 stands at $4.2 billion. Noble recently hosted students from Nextgen at our NobleAdvances training center, where they learned about careers in the offshore drilling industry. The Nextgen program provides insights into oil and gas job opportunities for young people seeking an alternative to a four-year degree.
