Earlier this month, we celebrated the opening of a new playground at Creekside Park Elementary in Anchorage, Alaska. Thanks to our partners, Playworld Inc. and SofSURFACES Inc., we transformed the space into a welcoming, accessible playground for kids with varied disabilities and mobility needs. With inclusive features like the Playworld AeroGlider and Unity Dome, alongside accessible surfacing from SofSURFACES tiles, this playground will be a special place for years to come. Big Sky, Montana has an exciting new playground! We’re thrilled to have partnered with Earthscape Play, Playworld Inc. and inContour | Landscape Architecture to bring this show-stopping space to the Big Sky Community Organization. The park features two stunning timber towers by Earthscape, complete with climbing walls, ropes, slides, and a bridge connecting the towers, as well as a junior tower designed for younger children. There’s also a zipline and an accessible whirl from Playworld. At Northwest Playground Equipment, Inc. we have the privilege of being a part of incredible projects and we're so often touched by the inspirational communities that bring them to life. Yesterday was one of those special moments that will always remain a reminder of the significance of why we do what do. King Kamehameha III Elementary School serves as the temporary home for the students displaced from the Lahaina wildfires. An incredible show of commitment, it was constructed in just 95 days and opened earlier this April to provide the normalcy of school to the children and families of Lahaina. Yesterday the school added the joy of play to their grounds and we were honored to take part in the dedication ceremony. A special thanks to all those involved in helping to bring play back to such a deserving and incredibly resilient community, especially our partners and friends at Playworld Inc.. #buildingcommunity
