Remote Work Enthusiast—We're all about remote work here at Paired. Be ready to discuss your remote work experience or how you're prepared to excel in a distributed team environment. Cultural Chameleon— Working with global clients means adaptability is key. Share examples of how you've worked effectively across different cultures or time zones. As a recruitment consultant for Paired, I understand that job hunting can be challenging and stressful. Over the next few days/weeks (I suppose), I'll share practical tips to help you optimize your job applications and interview preparation! <Shortlisting stage, how to get notified by recruiters> 1. Getting your Resume and/or portfolio ready > Please always update your resume before applying to any position you apply, Make sure it's in an ATS-Friendly format (you can do and check this on Google or some AI Tools that can upload documents like GPT-4o or Claude.ai) 2. Write down a proper general cover letter > Don't forget to address the right person in your letter; Please make sure you address the right company name you applied for! (This is a common mistake that I always see when shortlisting candidates) and I will definitely skip your application if you're applying to Paired, but you wrote a cover letter addressed to Gojek Indonesia 😂 (for example) 3. Use a proper profile picture > Please use a proper profile picture. It doesn't have to be "pas foto" with blue or red background using a proper shirt or else. But make sure that it is recognizable. DON'T UPLOAD YOUR RESUME AS YOUR PROFILE PICTURE! I will definitely skip your application. It's not like we want to see whether you're a good-looking person or not, but it shows that you are serious about the role you are applying for!
