PSTA is proud to be installing new Narcan kits at four bus terminals! I addition, PSTA employees have recently gone through Narcan Training with the local Sheriffs department. What a fantastic way to wrap up the week! Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) hosted a fun-filled summer bash on Friday, serving up popcorn, popsicles, and plenty of good vibes. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate and learn more about the incredible work our ERGs do to foster inclusion, support, and community at Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority. Last weekend we celebrated the SunRunner Ground Breaking, along with @usrepkathycastor, State Senator @sen_rouson, St. Petersburg City Council Chair and PSTA Board Member @councilwomand5, PSTA Board Chair and St. Pete City Council member @driscoll.gina and other local leaders. The station will be located around 120 1st Avenue North right next to the popular brunch spot Social Roost in downtown St. Petersburg! Our aim is to provide residents and visitors with easier access to popular spots like the St. Pete Pier, and the sprawl of shops and restaurants on Beach Drive. On Saturday, July 27th our PSTA Outreach team went to Care Fair ✨ Care Fair is an event organized by the Junior League of St. Petersburg, Inc. that collaborates with community partners to prepare students for the start of the school year. Kids received free physicals, immunizations, vision and dental exams, diabetes screenings, and free school supplies.
