Will you be in OKC? (did it rhyme in your head?) The #PODSCommunity will be next month at the AGA Operations Fall Committee Meetings & Workshops! PODS is so grateful to American Gas Association for inviting us to participate in the brand new GIS and Asset Managment Committee this year - we are so excited to volunteer and share innovation on how the #DigitalTwin can increase #PipelineSafety. Now more than ever, visibility and optimization of in-ground assets are vital to our industry. The rising cost of failure, the public’s focus on pipelines and the energy future, the need for data transparency and accuracy to meet new regulations, ESG initiatives, and methane reduction…everything is changing, so PODS is too! While working with this incredible team and based on feedback over the last couple of years we realized we needed to pivot. So....in an effort to better align with operator needs (especially those with a mix of transmission, gathering and distribution pipeline) and offer specific data solutions geared towards regulation and compliance, PODS will now offer two core data models – PODS 7 + APR and PODS 7 Utility Network. Additionally, PODS will offer regulatory and industry specific modules which can be attached to PODS 7 or other industry models, like UPDM, quickly and cost-effectively. In short, we are opening PODS to more pipeliners! #AintNothinFinerThanAPipeliner Our vision is that if a PODS member has federally regulated pipeline in the US and is required to submit an annual report they can download and implement the Integrity Regulatory (IR) Module to their PODS 7 or UPDM data model which will allow them to easily organize and submit annual reports as well as manage IMP activities internally such as individual repairs or other maintenance activities. #PoweredByPODS #PassionForPipelineSafety

Last chance to register for the Sept 4th #PODScast with Petro IT to talk about some very timely and important tools...now that Transmission, Gathering and soon to be Distribution Pipelines will need to be TVC'd. While a PODS database is the best place to have your compliance data, achieving a TVC-compliant PODS Database is sometimes an arduous and time-consuming task. It often involves manually examining multiple datasets. At its worst, this process can be painstakingly slow and costly, tying up valuable resources that could be performing other tasks critical to the bottom line. But what if we could automate the most challenging part of the process—sifting through vast amounts of data, interrogating datasets, and identifying gaps, overlaps, and missing or non-compliant data? Furthermore, what if we could simplify the remaining steps, ultimately producing a TVC-compliant PODS GDB or MDB ready for loading?
