Director of Social Media Content & Communications |
Leading International Travel/Tour Company
This role will design and drive the execution of social media strategy across social content and community engagement. You will coordinate with senior level executives and cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams including Brand Marketing, Creative, Copy, Digital Media, PR, Customer Relations, Reservations, Product, and others.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, PR, Communications or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience
- 12+ years in marketing with last 6+ years in social media
- 2+ years in a director level role or higher for teams with 10 or more people
- Working with, and promoting brand initiatives, for large and/or internationally-known company(ies), travel industry preferred
- Building and executing channel specific social editorial strategies across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn
- Navigating crises/issues management via social media
- Social and digital community management and engagement
- Managing social and digital communities with tools for community management, social publishing, analytics, and social listening (Khoros and Talkwalker experience preferred)
- Digital content creation process including experience briefing and providing feedback to copy and design teams
- UGC sourcing and utilization across social and corporate web
- Digital advertising with a focus on messaging, creative, and communications planning preferred
- Development or management of brand advocate/influencer/creator relationships and programs preferred
This position is in Los Angeles under a hybrid office policy requiring in-office presence: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
