Senior Public Relations Student at The University of Texas at Austin | Public Relations Intern at Radio Flyer | Public Relations Intern at Giant Noise | Director of Membership at Tower & Bridge Communications

Last week, I completed my summer PR internship with Radio Flyer in Chicago, IL! I learned so much in the public relations field and was able to apply my knowledge to communicate our brand's values and messaging through various projects throughout the summer. I would like to thank Mindy Stumpf for being such an amazing manager! She not only led me to learn/improve numerous skills, such as tracking our affiliate program, monitoring our media coverage, writing pitches, creating presentations and reports, and more but also made me feel as though my work at Radio Flyer was truly being implemented and making a difference. Her feedback was always extremely helpful and I genuinely feel like a better PR professional thanks to her guidance. I would also like to thank Lucy Phalen for leading such an amazing intern program. Your guidance throughout the summer made us all feel so welcome and truly like part of the Flyer family! Lastly, thank you to the rest of the Flyer community and interns for making this such a productive and positive experience! I'm excited to continue working for Radio Flyer throughout the Fall and to continue bringing smiles to kids of all ages through our products!

Recent ID Grad @ NC State University

After spending the last 12 weeks at Radio Flyer I have developed skills and connections that I’ll value greatly as I head into my career. I got to work on the Flyer e-bike team where I learned how to be a valuable designer in a fast-paced and innovative environment under my mentor, Igor zemskov. I got to spend a lot of time with Flyer products as it was my main mode of transportation around Chicago! I worked on accessories and bike frame projects that would help me push my ideation and prototyping skills in hardgoods and softgoods. I especially enjoyed working and learning alongside my fellow interns!

Student at The University of Kansas

Recently I completed my 12-week internship where I had the opportunity to join the amazing team at Radio Flyer as an Industrial design intern. I was able to contribute to the development of multiple new products both as a lead and secondary designer, and I can't wait to see them hit the shelves! I grew my skills in designing for manufacturing, rapid prototyping, ping pong, CMF application, and of course always sketching. I want to give a huge shoutout to my mentor Collin Ostergaard who was able to push me to achieve more than I thought I could, as well as the rest of the product development team who had a wealth of information that they were always happy to share. Thank you also to the other interns who made this summer an amazing lasting experience!

Seeking Full-Time Job in Design Engineer Role

I recently completed my post-grad internship as a mechanical engineer with Radio Flyer! I was able to contribute meaningfully to the design and development of future eBike accessories and grow my rapid prototyping and technical communication skills. I am grateful to my manager Agostino LoBello as well as the rest of the eBike team for lending me their expertise so I could improve my engineering design abilities. I am also grateful for their eBike loaner program that let me commute to work via eBike for the summer! It has certainly ignited an appreciation and passion for sustainable travelling. 🚲 Last of all, thank you to the interns and everyone else at Radio Flyer for being so welcoming and making the summer so enriching!

Today I finished up my last day as Prototype Shop Intern at Radio Flyer. Over the last 12 weeks, I had the opportunity to work on prototypes ranging from low-fidelity works-likes to high fidelity models for photoshoots and promotion of new products to our clients. I also worked on numerous organizational projects to make the shop more efficient and safer to work in, including an inventory tracker for the wood and plastic materials, and managing the SLS 3D printing queue for the Product Development Team. This internship has helped me greatly improve my model-making and prototyping skills, including my woodworking, 3D printing, and finishing (sanding, painting, texturing) skills. I'm excited to return to my studies with this new knowledge and experience! Thank you to the entire Radio Flyer Product Development Team for your support and this great opportunity!

Over the past twelve weeks, I had the incredible opportunity to be a Radio Flyer E-Commerce Marketing & Sales Intern in Chicago, Illinois.
