Saint Agnes and UnitedHealthcare have agreed to process any affected member claims from July 1–26 as in-network. Earlier this month, members of our orthopaedic team and family medicine residents, alongside sports medicine fellowship program director and physician Richard Oravec, MD, visited Sunnyside High School to provide free sports physicals for teens in Fresno Unified School District. The team worked together to provide 226 physicals, providing care to teens to perform at their best when they start this next school year! Saint Agnes Men’s Club is a group of philanthropic men whose fundraising efforts have helped our hospital and community outreach programs since 1983. In 2023, the Men’s Club raised more than $379,000 to support patient care services and continues to raise more funds year over year. Last month, Saint Agnes colleagues and senior leadership came together to celebrate the Men’s Club’s record-breaking year with checks presented to multiple departments including: cardiovascular, surgical services, anesthesia, endoscopy, outpatient wound and hyperbaric, critical care services, environmental services and more!
