Earlier this summer, our Southwest City facilities held a Men's Health Awareness event that was a great success! Thanks to the generosity and support of our Team Members, they raised a total of $542.13 for prostate and testicular cancer research, which they donated to Hope Cancer Resources. With 16 years of industry experience, Luke brings a wealth of knowledge across facility operations, warehousing, and planning functions.     A proud University of Arkansas graduate, Luke resides in Rogers, AR with his wife Heather and their two children, Jaxon and Charlie. Join us in congratulating Zach McGee, Senior Director of Live Operations at Simmons Foods, for being named to Talk Business & Politics Forty Under 40 list! Zach oversees the work of more than 100 Team Members in various areas of live operations including the feed mill that produces feed for the birds, operations at two poultry hatcheries, and transportation of two million chickens weekly to Simmons’ processing plants. Simmons hosted agricultural education teachers from across the region this week at our Benton County office to connect the work we do with the educators preparing students for successful careers in agriculture, food, fiber, and natural resource systems.     Teachers toured our facilities, shared insights on how we can partner together and discovered grant and community support opportunities to improve their ag education programs.     #SimmonsFoods #WorkAtSimmons

Our 2024 summer interns wrapped up their time with us this week! This year's cohort represents a diverse set of majors from universities across the nation. In addition to their eight-week projects within their respective departments, interns had the chance to tour our facilities, engage with the Senior Leadership Team, complete training with the Learning & Development team, and give back to the Northwest Arkansas community through various service projects.     Thank you for choosing to spend your summer doing real work with us.
