The Times Higher Education (THE) University Rankings placed the University of Oxford as number one in the world for Social Sciences in 2022, 2019 and 2018. Congratulations to Jamie Lachman and David Humphreys who have been awarded Professorships at the University of Oxford as part of the Recognition of Distinction scheme! 👏 Professor Humphreys is an interdisciplinary social scientist whose research spans several fields including criminology, #PublicHealth and epidemiology. He will take the role of Professor of Social Policy Evaluation. Professor Lachman's research cuts across the fields of public health, psychology and social work, involving various methodologies. His new title is Professor of Child and Family Global Health.
