Featured Lab: This month we’re showcasing SwRI’s fuel cell testing and research laboratory that’s used to support industry clients in the development of new fuel cell technologies. Our team can test reliability, increase performance and extend the lifetime of current systems. Most fuel cells produce electricity by splitting hydrogen into parts; the result is high energy density, high efficiency and low environmental impact. SwRI’s advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) measurement and analysis software system, SPARTA, works in tandem with existing equipment to identify and analyze 37 new parameters. We’re showing off the technology at IEEE AUTOTESTCON. Come see a demo in booth no. 119. We’re also exhibiting our other capabilities and R&D in booth no. 509. In 2023, SwRI developed a process for converting wood pulp into a refinery feed from a renewable carbon source. A life-cycle assessment performed by the client found that the SwRI process was carbon negative as well. #TechTuesday
