We offer full design services including feasibility assessment, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration for new structures,renovations, expansions and adaptations to existing structures. Our reputation for strong project coordination as well as our vast knowledge of building systems, offer our clients a fully integrated structural design that is efficient, economical and constructible. Throughout the design process, we are mindful of the architectural intent, the needs of other consultants, the contractor’s assembly and the owner’s goals. Our ability to respond to unique structural challenges on time and within budget has earned our firm great recognition and respect among our peers in the design and construction industry. Structures is certified as a State of Texas HUB firm; DBE, MBE, and SBE for the City of Austin; and self certified Federal SBE.

This morning, we celebrated the opening of a new park along the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail. Thank you to Mayor Kirk Watson, councilmembers Zohaib "Zo" Qadri, MPA, MA, José Velásquez, and Ryan Alter, and Assistant Director of Austin Parks & Recreation Lucas Massie for joining us. The new Trailhead, designed by dwg. features a 10,250 square-foot main lawn, a nature-based playscape, a multi-use floating dock, shaded seating areas, and enhanced lighting along pathways that connect the neighborhood to the Trail. A special thank you to the design team and contractors who brought the community’s vision for this space to life: GarzaEMC, Structures, Blackland Collaborative, Encotech, Siglo Group, Strata Landscape, Square One Consultants, Inc., Contour Collective, and James Pole Irrigation.

The renovation of the LBJ Early College High School is a testament to the power of architectural vision and structural engineering expertise. It transformed the 1972-built, 56,000 SF building into a space of light and openness, promoting occupant wellbeing.
