As we end the summer intern season, it's great to hear directly from our teammates about their experience. Thank you Paige Welsheimer for your hard work this summer!

The Kaptur-Rogowski House was transformed into a welcoming community crisis house by the Schmid team. This new one-story building included a series of single and family sleeping rooms, offices, nurse station, meeting rooms, medicine room and more. Residents have access to central bath/shower, living, dining and laundry rooms. The kitchen includes a warming station to provide residents with hot meals prepared at an adjacent facility.  Every component of this space was intentionally chosen to create a calming environment, which will be long-standing and energy efficient. The second stage of the Tipping Point journey is the forseeable stage. During this stage, we take the hopes, dreams, ideas, and data we've garnered and use them to develop a plan of action. Here's how we do it: ▪️ Complete a technical diligence required to form accurate architectural and engineering plans. ▪️ Form accurate architectural and engineering plans to establish formal budgets, scopes, and proposals. In partnership with the Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation (OBCDC), Tipping Point and Desmone conducted a series of community engagement meetings and sessions to discover the experiences people most desired in the heart of Old Brooklyn. John started working for Tec Inc. over 12 years ago after several years in the industry. He contributes extensive knowledge in boilers, HVAC systems, and water and wastewater facilities to our leadership team. Tec is providing the MEP engineering for the Lima Aquatic Center which is projected to be completed in Spring of 2025. This 9 million dollar project includes a dehumidification system, cooling and HVAC for the Administration building and Party Room, and strategic considerations for hanging systems' weight limits and lighting fixture design. The groundbreaking for the Lima Community Aquatic Park will take place at 11 am on February 2nd.
