We've started! Thank you Miami-Dade Beacon Council for hosting us on our first day. We were honored to hear from Fabiana Jorge on the Inter American vision for forming a bridge between Latin American, the Caribbean and the US markets and Marcelo Cabrol of the IDB Lab who walked us through all the exciting initiatives taken by the IDB Lab to facilitate and support Latin American and Caribbean based startup companies. Special thanks goes to Rodrick Miller, President and CEO of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council for hosting our Kickoff event along with Greg Horowitz, Madeline Mesa, and the entire Miami-Dade Beacon Council team for welcoming our selected companies to Miami and presenting the ecosystem and the regional oppertunity. 🌴🌇🦩🌎Had the opportunity of attending Miami-LAC Gateway Reception of the new program launched by the IDB Lab and TechnoArt.org specifically designed for Latin American and Caribbean companies to venture into the U.S. market in partnership with leading regional players. What an amazing event where saw dearest colleagues of the Miami ecosystem, IDB Lab, and the amazing founders that were selected to be part of this program. Also had the chance to share about the amazing growth and impact and of WISE Women in STEM Entrepreneurship Latin America, a successful IDB Lab initiative, and the work that we are doing at the University of Miami and our Hemispheric University Consortium.
