New Friends of Cancer Research manuscript in JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics demonstrates the feasibility of aligning disparate real-world (rw) data sources to evaluate rw-response to treatment using clinician-documented response in patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (mNSCLC). Alignment of methodologies analyzing real-world data (RWD) is critical for supporting evidence generation using these data to inform oncology drug development and regulatory decision-making. These findings are from the latest pilot project in Friends’ Real-World Evidence Portfolio, which establishes methodologies for using RWD to evaluate safety and efficacy of therapies for #patients. The study assessed data provided by 7 project partners each providing data from 200 patients, indicating that clinician-documented response data was the most available source data for response assessment across datasets, with variability in the availability of imaging data. Real-world response assessed using clinician-stated response was relatively consistent across #data sources in an aligned patient population.
