The Chefs' Warehouse

This past Monday the CW NorCal team, including members from GreenLeaf, a Chefs' Warehouse company and Mike Hudson Distributing, recently had the opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering at Knoll Organic Farms. Established in 1979, this farm is a self-sustaining ecosystem founded by Rick Knoll. Under the guidance of Rick and Alicia Mendes, our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work, spending the day weeding basil rows, protecting young mandarin trees with alfalfa, and transplanting rosemary bushes. It was a rewarding day of hard work under the sun, made even better by the presence of playful kittens and the abundance of fresh figs and stone fruits straight from the tree. A truly fulfilling experience for all involved!
