Two posters from our Honoring Local Heroes collaboration with the Tennessee Department Of Safety And Homeland Security were presented at the Jasper Driver Services Center last week! One poster honors the legacy of Kainen Boring, a 17-year-old donor hero who saved five lives in September 2011. The second poster celebrates the gift of life, recognizing Jackie Kirk who received a lifesaving heart transplant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in July 2016. Crystal Rose was born in 2021 with multiple heart defects that could only be fixed with a heart transplant.
