    Glamour talked to Emily Cherkin, The Screentime Consultant and tonies® USA President Christoph Frehsee to share how the #Toniebox is planning to solve parent’s screen time anxiety with their latest article 👇 “This is a parental dilemma that is unique to our era, and research has made it abundantly clear that excessively watching videos on devices like a phone or tablet isn’t good for children (it’s not that great for adults either). The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends “very limited” screen time for kids under 18 months, and suggests that parents avoid “solo media use” up to the age of two. After two, the recommendation is no more than an hour a day, up to age five. But there’s the recommendations of professionals, and then there’s the reality of American parenthood.” ✅Our aim has been, and always will be to continue to help parents find balance in a world that feels dominated by screens with bringing beloved characters and introducing new favorites into the realm of imaginative play.     🤝 Our newest collaboration with the up-and-coming kids show, Doggyland, has officially launched with great fanfare across the #tonies community. 🐾 Doggyland is a 3D animated series on YouTube created by #SnoopDogg, October London & Claude Brooks.     📣 This just in: our Discover Imagination campaign has been nominated as a finalist for The Drum Awards in the Creative category. 🎨 These awards honor the most effective marketing campaigns, companies, and individuals. “We wanted to show the shift a child experiences from passive screen spectator, to active participant in imaginative play. We wanted to remind parents and kids everywhere what it’s like to (re) Discover Imagination. Our goal was to tap into that immersive sense of magic where stories and worlds feel larger than life and the child becomes the main character. The ‘Discover Imagination’ campaign, aimed not just at showcasing the product, but more importantly, at highlighting its impact on a child’s imagination and spirit.     We announced our Q1 results today and have started 2024 with a 20% YoY increase of group revenue to EUR 78.3 million driven by a strong Easter business. 💰 📈   We saw growth in all product categories and regions. Revenue in the strategically important North American region rose by 46.9% to EUR 27.9 million.   Our CEO Tobias Wann comments: “In 2023, we achieved remarkable milestones, marking it as a record year for our company with exponential growth and becoming profitable on an EBITDA basis. As expected, we entered 2024 with an increase of revenue in Q1 of around 20% year-over-year and growth across all product categories and regions. Our Easter business exhibited strong performance, albeit facing supply chain challenges that resulted in some selected stock outs in the first quarter. As we progress further into the year, we anticipate a notable acceleration in our growth trajectory in the second half of the year, where we generate the majority of our revenue. The strategic initiatives implemented in the first quarter will play a crucial role to achieve our guided target of a growth rate of more than 33% in 2024. One such initiative is the launch of Clever Tonies, a new product category designed to engage older children with educational entertainment content.”
