”Being a Division 1 college athlete who travels a lot, my main challenge is having little time to work. When I first received the letter in the mail for the the Vector opportunity, I remember thinking to myself… Was I truly going to be able to give my all to this like I do my sport? Am I going to have enough time to truly engage and learn all the things I needed to? Is Cutco really for me? I soon learned that Cutco was something that not only gave me work I can do at anytime to have money in college, but it also gave me a second family that taught me how to manage my time while still being able to put my best foot forward, whether that's on the court, in the classroom, or at work. We humans have an innate drive to be good at something. But for some of us excelling in one area isn’t enough. You may be great at selling piece orders, but sets, can’t sell a single one. You might be awesome at running training, but interviews, count you out. The next time you feel down because you’re not doing well at something - read this:

Feeling stretched thin as you finish off the summer? Here’s the reminder you need… ”Battling through struggles is tough mentally. Everything in life is action oriented and the work we do here at Vector is a great example of that. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲. It’s not about some arbitrary sales number, but how I can get them to realize their true potential. 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐈’𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞. I like to tell my sales reps that I’m like their coach and their grandma. I’m like their coach because I’m always gonna push them harder to get them to realize the potential that I see in them, and I’m like their grandma because it’s always coming from a place of love and care.” - Tyler Evangelisto, Branch Manager (Quakertown, PA)

We’re excited to connect with students on campus! As the new semester starts, our managers will be around to share information about our available work opportunities. The Salt Lake City team loved meeting students this week at University of Utah and our Oklahoma City team met students at University of Central Oklahoma. Our part-time representatives gain valuable skills while balancing work with their classes, including communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and more. These are exactly the skills that recruiters seek for future careers.

”When I first started working here, I was a kid who was excited to make money, but now I’ve realized that the most fulfilling part is the way this line of work has opened my eyes to the importance of having accountability in my own life, and seeing the impact it’s had on the lives of others around me.
