We have 3 special ladies to recognize today! Emily Van Blyderveen started with us just 2 years ago today, but she's already made a name for herself! Emily joined the London team May 2021 and finished the summer as the top student in all of Canada earning a scholarship! Last summer, she moved into an Assistant Manager role with the London team and backed it up finishing as the #5 student in the country! This past year she has been in our Leadership Academy around her studies at Sheridan College and she was recently promoted to Branch Manager for Kitchener/Waterloo. We can't wait to see your influence on many this summer Emily! Denise Parent started with us a lucky 13 years ago today! She is a Communications graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University and led teams in Mississauga as both a Branch and District Manager. She then pursued her Event Management post-grad certificate at Humber College. After demonstrating her excellence as the Sales Promotion Assistant, in 2017 she was promoted to her current role of National Sales Promotion Manager. Denise brings the fun to every incentive trip she plans & every event she executes across the country. She loves recognizing our field organization as they pursue their dreams! Thanks for all that you do Denise! Margaret Przybyla may have had an unconventional start 24 years ago, however she is now one of the all-time top Cutco sales reps in the history of Vector Canada, with over $2.7 million in personal sales. Hers is a story of dedication to a dream, that started with emigrating to Canada during challenging times in her home country of Poland. She had a desire to build a beautiful life for herself and her 2 daughters, and to be able to succeed as a self-made businesswoman selling Cutco. Margaret’s goals have never been to compete at the highest levels, however by advancing at her own pace and living life on her terms, she has had a powerful influence throughout our company and on her clients who love her. We're thrilled to recognize these 3 leaders who are celebrating anniversaries with us! Carter Penfound got started as a sales rep right after his classes finished in May of 2021. He's a business administration and management student at Western and everyone enjoys working with him! The summer of 2022 he led the Windsor team to a Silver Cup win and this year he has been promoted to Sr. Branch Manager and will lead the Niagara organization. Thanks for your continued influence Carter! Devin Haag got started as a sales rep when he was a student in Calgary in 2009! When you think of Devin you think of service. He is committed to giving the highest quality service to all of his clients and it doesn't go unnoticed. Devin is a member of our Hall of Fame, and he also earned the coveted Rolex in 2021. We look forward to seeing you continue to learn, grow and dream! Joe Cardillo got started with Vector when he was a student 36 years ago! You can't separate Vector Canada from Joe, as he was part of the start-up team that expanded into Canada in 1990. Over the years, he held the positions of #1 Branch manager, #1 District Manager and #1 Division Manager. He earned his Executive MBA at Ivey Business School at Western University. In 2016 he was promoted to his current role of General Manager. Joe is competitive, kind and passionate about growth, and we're grateful for his leadership. A 3 decade career with one company, is often unheard of these days, however we couldn't be more excited to share this special milestone! We're celebrating National Sales Manager, Angie Macdougall, who started 30 years ago as a University of Calgary business student. She has excelled throughout her career, leading the first team in Canada to sell over $2 million for the year, she’s a 16 time Presidents’ Banquet achiever, Hall of Fame inductee and one of the Triple Crown of Service inaugural award winners. She was promoted to Division Manager in 2003 and in 2014 she was promoted to Western Area Manager. In 2016 she took on her current role of National Sales Manager. She leads an exciting life outside of the business as well in beautiful Vernon, BC with her husband Warren and children Ava and Declan. Her career has been full of memories made, challenges overcome, championships won and lives impacted. It's a special time of the year when we get to recognize the work anniversaries of so many of our leaders! Join us in celebrating these Vector-versaries that have taken place over the last couple of days! Joaquin Nacionales joined the Calgary team a year ago as a MRU Athletic Therapy student. He has brought his dynamic energy and joy with him since Day 1! Joaquin finished as the #4 student in all of Canada last summer, and earlier this year he was promoted to Branch Manager. We're excited to see him impact his team in Okotoks this summer! Wilson Wong is celebrating his 16th anniversary this week! He's a 2 time Branch Manager and now he specializes in the gifting side of the business. He has the ability to make anyone feel at ease around him, and he loves helping his clients build strong relationships! Dean Stanzel started with Vector originally 29 years ago and found his way back to us a few years ago and we couldn't be more grateful! Dean has been committed to grow these last couple of years, and it's been exciting to watch his journey! Vonny Fast, Sharp Gifts Canada started with us 31 years ago today as a University of Calgary student. She held a few different management positions before finding her niche and she's never looked back. Vonny is the Top Career Sales Professional in all of Canada, and is closing in on $10 million in career sales. She is humble, kind and is on a quest for continual growth! Thanks so much for your example! Sibylle Stipp also started with us 31 years ago today as a Simon Fraser university student. She was a top Branch and District Manager and for several years has been a leader in the closing gift space. She has built a large clientele and her love of our product always shines through! Sunday marks Jonathan St-Pierre's 6 year Vector-versary! We're so grateful to have Jonny model his commitment to big thinking, his desire to continually grow, and his bias towards action- to so many!
