“Growing up, I always saw myself as average, at best, in most areas of my life - sports, friends, school. My goal was to work hard in college and get a good job in something business related, but had no idea specifically what that job would be, so I kept an open mind. Then I got a friendly text about working with Vector and decided to ‘try it out’ so that I could improve my people and business skills, as well as boost my resume. 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭, 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. I really leaned into what the experience had to offer by running interviews my first summer (which taught me professionalism). I learned work ethic by grinding through some 12-13 hour days. Coaching and learning how to inspire individuals on a team to build a culture that I was proud of. This taught me the power of influence. Growing up I thought our life potential was based on the resources we had growing up- but that’s not true. Vector teaches that we can create our own resources & learn from others who are further along the learning curve in the beautiful game of life! WHAT YOU PUT IN IS WHAT YOU GET OUT. I am pumped for my current vision…Thank you to all my mentors and coworkers for believing in me over the years!” - K.C. Last Tuesday, I attended the SC1 Vector Convention hosted by Dan Casetta and had the great opportunity to hear from exceptional speakers like Dave Powders, Michael Gryskiewicz, Cora Leigh LaVette, Zach Van Rossum, Raymond Salvador, Denise Vitorino, and JC Miranda about their journeys through Vector. Here are the five most important things I learned… 1. Knowledge and Willingness to Learn: Knowledge is potential power, and a willingness to learn provides layers of skills to rely upon. This involves tipping the scale from passive to active learning. 2. Work Ethic: Success is built on what people know and do. It is crucial to try your best and put in consistent effort. 3. Mental Fortitude: It is critical to embrace failure as a tool for improvement. This resilience helps overcome challenges and continue to grow. 4. Positive Attitude and Outlook: The right mindset helps you overcome everyday challenges and face more significant obstacles. 5. Confidence and Product Conviction: Believing in one's skills and abilities and genuinely believing in the product or service being offered is essential for success. This includes using the product and finding value in it. I also wanted to give a special thanks to Mike Schmid for putting together this amazing opportunity for the Walnut Creek team and for students like me who are passionate about becoming aspiring entrepreneurs!

At Vector Marketing, we realize that young people typically have the choice between two types of jobs: low-paying hourly positions where your effort isn’t rewarded but the pay is guaranteed, and high-pressure sales positions where you can make a lot of money but you might go home empty-handed. We hope to provide an easy solution to this problem by giving you the best of both worlds. With Vector, you are guaranteed to receive a competitive wage for every qualified appointment you complete, regardless of whether or not you make a sale. Many of our reps, like Vince, appreciate this, as it means that their clients don’t have to feel pressured into making a purchase if they don’t want to. To learn more about the kind of money you can earn through low-pressure sales and hard work, sign up for an interview today and see if working with Vector Marketing seems right for you.

I had the pleasure of speaking at Vector Marketing’s annual SC1 conference today where I shared my Cutco story, and how being #vectortrained equipped me to be in the role I am today! I had a blast catching up with all my old managers, friends, and watching my sister branch this summer! #cutcoalumni

For the person chasing big goals this summer, here are the reminders you didn’t know you needed today … “𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝟗𝟎% 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝟓𝟎% 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬. 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬. If you lose sight of the end goal, you will often get stuck and lose progress or give up. When you can find and understand your ‘why’, you can push through the difficulties and continue to grow and improve. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞/𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧/𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥. And once you reach it, you can take a breath, smile, and look back to enjoy those moments that may have not been so enjoyable, but were needed. 𝐀𝐧𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐬; 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐨 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠. Before my journey with Vector, I was an extremely introverted person not wanting to speak in front of others. Working with Vector has gotten me out of my comfort zone and instilled confidence in me that I lacked before. I had no idea when I first started that I would grow this much. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧.” - Abraham Williams, District Manager (Rock Hill, SC)

The work environment that Vector Marketing promotes may seem a little too good to be true. And if you’ve been burned by false promises before, there’s plenty of reason to be skeptical of a position that pays well and doesn’t require prior work experience. Before you decide whether you’d like to give it a try, you have two choices: listen to people who haven’t done the job, or listen to people who have. Our sales rep Delaina, for example, HAS tried working with Vector Marketing. As a full-time student, she found that the high flexibility was the perfect way to earn some money around her busy class schedule.
