Thank you to the Federal Communications Commission and Suzy Rosen Singleton for hosting a forum on Direct Video Calling (DVC) and the importance of serving the deaf and hard of hearing community in their language of choice, ASL. Here are some actionable steps we can take to help advocate for mental health awareness in BIPOC communities: - Educate yourself and others: Learn about the mental health challenges affecting BIPOC communities and share this knowledge with others to raise awareness. - Advocate for change: Support policies and initiatives that aim to improve access to mental health care for BIPOC individuals. - Break the stigma: Challenge stereotypes and stigmas surrounding mental health in BIPOC communities by promoting open and honest conversations. - Donate: Consider making a gift in someone's honor. vibrant.org/donate We can all make a difference by spreading mental health awareness and providing resources and support for BIPOC communities.
