Our Verco division once again sponsored Phoenix Children's Hospital and their Power Play event earlier this year, where students from Arizona State University's School of Art in the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts partner with PCH and hospital patients to create customized superhero costumes for the young patients. We love this event, and the superheroes all looked amazing!! Our UL Lookup Aid for floor systems assists in the selection of UL Design Assemblies based on the hour rating and type of protection needed for building a project. It helps users quickly filter through a large list of options to find the specific assemblies that meet their requirements, considering factors such as material requirements, joist sizes, member sizes, spacing, and types of concrete. This tool simplifies the process of choosing the best assembly for a given project. We loved hosting our annual Intern Summit at our Nebraska division recently! All Nucor interns from Vulcraft Nebraska and several other Nucor divisions across the Midwest came together for three full days of learning. During our time together, interns participated in a number of different activities to hear from fellow interns about their experiences, and they also worked on team building and various job skills that will help them in the future. Being involved in our local communities is part of who we are as teammates. We're proud of our divisions across the U.S.A. and Canada for deeply caring for their neighbors. 🍪 Our Indiana division recently supported both the Girl Scouts and the local YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne by donating several dozen cases of Girl Scout cookies to the Y 🌸Our Indiana division also participated in the annual United Way Day of Caring where they beautified the landscape of a local community outreach center 🔨Our Texas division sent teammates from our Special Projects team to help restore the historical New Testament church in Crockett, Texas 🌱 Our Texas teammates and interns volunteered their time to beautify the one-mile stretch of highway leading to our facility 🏐 Our Nebraska teammates raised money through a company volleyball tournament in support of Operation Steel Warrior, a Nucor Corporation initiative to support and honor severely injured military veterans #vulcraftvercofamily #teammates #communityinvolvement
