St. Louis is a Gateway to the Future! Welcome to the stage Alison Weber, Chief Creative Officer, Levy Restaurants, Lisa VanBladeren, Sr. Manager, ESG, YETI, Art Rodriquez, VP Operations, ABM Industries, Joe Abernathy, VP Stadium Operations, St. Louis CITY SC, and Matt Sebek, Chief Experience Officer, St. Louis CITY SC. Joe Abernathy explained it best by saying “It’s not about soccer, we’re trying to be a good club and a good neighbor.” A team is so much more than the people on the field. It takes a village to create an institution that really impacts the community in which it exists. In St. Louis, they leverage sports every day to make their communities better, fulfilling the mission of the Green Sports Alliance. #FasterFurther #24GSASummit

YETI.com/es is live! A major shout out to the cross-functional teams involved in bringing this to life for our Spanish-speaking customers.

¡La página de YETI ya está en Español! YETI's website is now in Spanish! This has been an amazing journey that started with our Hispanic/Latinx EAG (UNYDOS) and a cross-functional collaboration among various teams at YETI. Our goals were to represent our brand in the most authentic way possible, making sure that the YETI essence is never lost in translation, and to provide quality content and a more inclusive experience for our Spanish-speaking customers who want to find the best gear for getting into the wild. Visita YETI.com/es    This would’ve not been possible without the hard work of Jacob Rothbauer, John Roberts, Arturo Castellanos, Camila Olarte and Maria H.; UNYDOS members (Elizabeth Soto, Maria Alarcon, Luis Arredondo, Shalom Gonzalez, Karla Avila, Erica Cicero, Chad Petrovski, Mario Bueno and Anthony T.), e-commerce (Vab Dwivedi, Kaycie Wonder, Anna Kate Smith, Bianca S., Liesl Prater and Natalie Bruno), digital product (Jacob Rothbauer, Zach Parmenter, Jordan Imhoff); technology (Vaughn McVey, Scott Streit, Brent Haller, Dave Monahan, Thomas Sebby, Isaac Vallee, Hannah Foster, Aaron Crocco); marketing (Christina Trafford, Catalina Condon, Ashley Allen, Greg Fox, Savannah Clements, Maret Moran), and CEG (Jordan Shackelford).

Whatta May! Check out the solid recap of API Heritage Month from our API EAG co-chair Dina Canlas Bean. A special thanks to Dina and Jennifer Allen for planning an impactful month of programming for employees with more to come throughout the year!

May flew by in a whirlwind of badass summer product launches (HELLO French press, Tropical Pink, Big Wave Blue!) and a month packed with API Heritage Month celebrations.   We kicked-off with a month-long BINGO challenge for all of YETI to educate, explore, and support different aspects of API heritage, and hosted a Blue Wave Boba Beach Party All-Hands. Boba by Teaspoon Austin and summer jams provided by King Pelican.   We also had thoughtful lunch and learn with one of our newest hunting ambassadors Samong Yang and hosted YETI PRESENTS: Tengu Screening and Chat Hilary Hutcheson.   For Community Lunch, Chef Rene Helit from The Cultured Chefs served up a Guam-inspired menu.   In the throws of the month we also hosted a API Happy Hour with snacks, appetizers, drinks, and lechon from local API restaurants and caterers - big ups to Nima Michael Astani and Christine Abuel Pompa for slicing and dicing our lechon this year and the incredible Jessica Mewis for braving stormy weather to get all of our happy hour goods to campus.   After a spicy EAG Hot Ones Challenge with our CEO and Senior Leadership Team answering mild to burning questions, we closed out the month with a Modern Health Circle Session in conjuncture with Mental Health Awareness month.   A special thanks all of our members and volunteers of our amazing EAG that helped create and host these magical events. Jessica Mew, PMP, Desiree Hunter, Vijay Vembuli, PMP®, CSM®, Talib Abdullahi, Amanda Gerards (she/her/hers), Anthony T., John Natividad, Jacob Drees, @Alice Du, Eddie Pratumtip, our fearless champion Pompa, and my API EAG Co-Chair Jennifer Allen.   We have more in store for YETI and can't wait to keep 2024 going.

Today we're celebrating the contributions of women in manufacturing, construction, and engineering—traditionally male-dominated fields. We asked women at our partner companies to tell us why they love their job and why more women should consider joining their industry. Here's what YETI's Meggie Engalla had to say. Let's continue to support and uplift the women making strides in these fields! #WomenInManufacturing #WomenInEngineering #WomenInConstruction

A peek inside the magic of our annual, global employee event 🤠

    CHRO @ YETI

Last week marked my third Trailblazers event at YETI, and I’m still riding the high! Our annual celebration began by welcoming colleagues from across the globe to our Austin homebase. From breakfast tacos to international market panels to a shared sense of purpose as we ventured out into the wild for service events, it was a week of forging connections that are so critical to our collective success. The week ended with our peer recognition ceremony at Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch. Ronin Farms graced our plates, but the real star was the collaboration between Ambassadors Edgar Rico of Nixta Taqueria and Don Nguyen of Khoi BBQ. It felt like a nod to the diverse tapestry that makes up our YETI family. And it was really special for me to get to meet a Vietnamese YETI ambassador, not to mention watch him make Banh Xeo in our new cast iron skillet! Lastly, our 2024 Trailblazer Award winners—employees recognizing employees who embody our Core Values and lead by example. I’d love to tag them here, but I’m not highlighting the best of the best to be recruited away! If you want to work with our exceptional talent, you’ll have to find your way to us! Here’s to more moments of connection, collaboration, and cowboy boots in the years to come. The team outdid themselves this year and it will be hard to top but we will try! 🌟🤠

Through training programs, policy advocacy, and harnessing the agency of chefs for change, we aim to help the independent restaurant industry reach new standards around equity, sustainability, and workplace practices. Thanks to support from sponsors like YETI, we can keep our programs going and continue advocating for food system change.
