Projects

  • Engineering Part Rationalization

Lead the development of a part feature extraction and part clustering solution. The solution was used to analyze 9,200 fabricated sheet metal parts for reuse and rationalization. The solution allowed the customer to identify 10% in cost reduction opportunities.

  • Supply Network Mapping

Lead the development of a multi tier supply network mapping solution. The solution was used to identify supplier capacity bottlenecks, calculate carbon footprints for shipping and identify excessive transportation routes. The solution allowed the customer to re-balance the supply network to mitigate capacity risks and identify shipping cost reductions.

  • Supply Network Rationalization

Lead the development of a supply network rationalization solution. The solution was used to evaluate each suppliers portfolio to identify outlier parts for resourcing and renegotiation. The solution allowed the customer to re-balance each suppliers parts portfolio to increase capacity and ultimately lower costs. Customers saved an average of $3MM per category of parts evaluated.

  • Infrastructure move to Amazon Web Services

Lead the migration of a classic hosted private data center to an Amazon Web Services Virtual Private Cloud. This move avoided the capital investment of a system wide upgrade, eliminated the need for a datacenter, increased overall system reliability while reducing monthly operating costs by 22%
