The University Film and Video Association is a community of makers, writers, researchers, scholars, and speakers, primarily working in or with university and college programs in communications, media and film. I have been an invited presenter during our annual conferences, and am an active participant in the UFVA's gender and inclusion initiatives.

Passionate about women's education and empowerment. Trustee, 2000-2010. Treasurer of the Corporation, 2009-2010. Rosemary Wire Anderson Alumna Award Recipient, 2011. Trustee Emerita since Fall 2010. Board responsibilities included chairing the Finance Committee, serving as Treasurer of the Corporation, chairing the Communications and Marketing Committee, Chairing the Investment Subcommittee with oversight of the endowment, and other leadership positions in support of the mission of the school.
