“I had the privilege of working with Michele as part of the Tableau HR Leadership Team as we navigated the early days of the Salesforce acquisition. With HR functioning autonomously at Tableau for the first couple of years (give or take a few months depending on the COE), we had to navigate a tremendous amount of complexity across our entire portfolio. Michele was an expert tactician, identifying areas of emphasis for us to lean into, simultaneously empowering us to continue adding value to Tableau's Executive Leadership Team while maintaining strategic alignment--and earning the trust of--the Salesforce HR Leadership Team. It was a fast, furious and fun time to be at Tableau/Salesforce. I learned a lot from Michele about how to operate as a senior leader, including how to best show up with executives and know when to dive down deep and when to pull up to cruising altitude. Frankly, it was the reason I came to Tableau in the first place and I'd make the same decision again in a heartbeat.”
