Suvinil, the decorative paint brand of #BASFCoatings, has unveiled its 2025 color trends, capturing the essence of coexistence with the launch of the #SuvinilRevela2025 collection. The three featured colors - Despertar (Awakening), Marrom-Luxo (Luxurious Brown), and Sossego Noturno (Night Calm) – provoke the reflexion of “Co(r)exist" blending human, nature, and technology in perfect harmony. In a world marked by change and reconstruction, where polarization and uncertainty are prevalent, we seek to coexist between extremes, discovering new values and a renewed sense of community. Colors, as powerful storytellers, have become even more significant in this context. They guide us through our emotions and connect us to who we are and who we aspire to become. A Milestone in Aviation #Sustainability with All Nippon Airways! All Nippon Airways (ANA) has become the first individual airline to equip both passenger and freighter versions of the Boeing 777 with an innovative surface film that reduces drag and improves fuel efficiency. The joint development of Lufthansa Technik and BASF combines the riblet film NovaFlex SharkSkin by BASF Coatings and the professional application and certification by Lufthansa Technik, which is marketed as #AeroSHARK within the aviation industry. 🦈 The technology enhances aerodynamic performance and delivers substantial fuel and emissions savings. The modification, which is nearly invisible, is expected to save approximately 250 metric tons of fuel and reduce CO2 emissions by about 800 metric tons per aircraft annually. As the first modified Boeing 777F begins its flights, ANA is setting a new benchmark in fuel-efficient technologies, furthering its commitment to sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint.
