The Nordic Combat Uniform (NCU) group will exhibit and illuminate the benefits of modular garment systems. The NCU system is a prime example of compatible uniform configurations from underwear to outer layers. It was developed by the NCU group for the Nordic Defense Cooperation (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden). Each exhibiting company is represented by project working groups bringing contributions from their respective fields of expertise. The GORE-TEX Brand has been partnering with students in the 2nd year of the program Fashion design of the University of Applied Sciences at Zwickau, Faculty Angewandte Kunst Schneeberg. The students have been designing workwear garments incorporating different Gore laminates and technologies. Here are a few highlights of the innovative pieces they have created. Collaborations with students and younger generations are invaluable to us, as they bring fresh perspectives and different creative solutions. The foundation aims to provide the support needed nationwide to police officers injured in the line of duty and their families.
