Did you know? Psychologists have found that displaying family photos in the home creates a strong sense of belonging and boosts confidence in children. A 1975 study from Tulane University found that a group of 4th graders saw a significant boost in self-esteem when family photos were displayed prominently in the home for children to see. Psychologists across the United States still back this practice today and believe that displaying the family as a unit reinforces the bond and it signifies that the children are a valued part of the family. We have seen this time and time again. When a family enters their new space for the first time, kids will beeline straight to the family photos that are lovingly displayed in the home. The excitement is written all over their faces - it is a symbol that this new home is truly theirs and they are loved. Printing and placing framed family photos is just another small detail that we believe makes a big difference.

Last night, we hosted a successful Triviapalooza, a CoreNet Young Leaders event at Joy District. Despite the wild heat and storms in Chicago, we had an incredible turnout, and we're so grateful to everyone for braving the weather. Thanks to everyone's generosity, we raised a significant amount of money to benefit Humble Design Chicago and their mission of helping those in need. A special thanks to our amazing MC, Adam Scholz from MillerKnoll, for his fantastic job keeping the energy high and the night running smoothly. It is always a good day when a group of movers and shakers join us in the warehouse. We had the pleasure of hosting the team from iCrossing today. Despite it being their first time joining us, they certainly made their mark, doing everything from building beds to organizing inventory and creating art in the studio.
