Last week was MultifamilyWomen® in AZ. Every conference and event has its personality and brand. This one is special because it’s for women empowering each other. Yesterday was the final day of the Multifamily Women® Summit and it was packed full of deep and impactful stage discussions. We began the day with a session on Wisdom from our Power Panel of 30+ Years in Multifamily with Marcia Bollinger, Melanie G French CPM, SPHR, and Kari Warren. We workshopped how to achieve Unstoppable Growth in times of Uncertainty with Debbie Rae Peters, Khymyanna Taylor, M.B.A., and Megan Iler. Dixie L. Anderson, Krista Hurley, and Lona Peterson spoke about Business Implementation, where Tech Meets Leadership. We sat with Laura Khouri and Donna R. Schmidt, CAPS,CPM to talk about Executive Focus and Vision. Elizabeth Meyers and Tina West, CPM graced the stage to talk through Differentiating your Brand and Retaining Top Talent. We navigated Negotiations in Business and Life with Avery Solomon and Lindsay Duffy. Katelyn Felt, Katie Burney, and Taylor Thomas gave an impactful supplier viewpoint around Strategies for Supplier-Partner Relationships. Then, we ended the day talking about Disruptive Technologies with Angela Flick and Jana Frazier. A special thank you to session hosts Heidi Arave-Noonan, Rachael Kish, CAM, CAPS, and Lauren Stinson. Spending 2 days at the Multifamily Women's Summit was a breath of fresh air. The heavy focus on lifting others up, mentoring, developing, and strengthening networking relationships resonated deeply. I’m still processing the last 2 days but for now my takeaways are: Be brave and be bold. Speak my truth. Even if it’s terrifying, do it anyway. Reignite my light. Laugh loud. Love hard. Hug tight. Be the last person on the dance floor. Make TikTok’s… Wait. What? 🤣🤷🏼♀️ MultifamilyWomen® is hands down the best gift you can give your team to spark a reinvigoration. A truly cup filling week visiting our AZ team, celebrating my 6th and Kari Warren’s 7th anniversaries at Kairoi Residential, which by the way came in the form of driving around a bright pink, ridiculous, Jeep. But most importantly we both had the honor of speaking at and attending the MultifamilyWomen® Summit and met an unbelievable amount of strong, confident, women experts in our field. All of our keynotes and speakers were so incredible and my bucket is so full from spending time with all of these impactful women.
