Why does everything you drink at a barbecue always taste amazing? According to Bryan Santee, there’s a good reason for this.   In the August issue of NACS Magazine, our very own PepsiCo Beverages NA Chief Commercial Officer explained how consumers increasingly desire unique tastes, textures, and memories associated with their drinks. In other words, your BBQ beverages of choice taste delicious because they complement the food AND it’s happening around fun times experiencing with friends and family.   This thinking drove the recent collaboration with chef Bobby Flay, which saw PepsiCo debut Pepsi Lime and Pepsi Peach as limited time offers to enhance your next BBQ. It’s innovations like these that show our commitment to creating unique beverage experiences that people love. Last week PepsiCo supported the NGA Foundation’s 2024 Executive Leadership Development Program, where 39 participants learned leadership and decision-making best practices to bring back to their organizations. Our participation in programs like these isn’t new because they truly exemplify the spirit of diversity in leadership, which helps foster growth by bringing a greater level of talent and creativity that better reflects the diverse communities served by the grocery industry.
