A busy week for SBA New Hampshire District Office as we meet #smallbiz and #ecosystem partners in their communities. Our own Tuesday Perkins partnered with Lori Cote of Service Credit Union, Ericka Canales and Maeve Cyr of Coos Economic Development Corp to hold a Lunch & Loan program for small businesses from Coos county and beyond. Valuable information was shared on obtaining credit and the partners and programs available to help make #smallbiz dreams come true. All enjoyed delicious food from Copper Pig in Lancaster. SBA New Hampshire District Office team members Theresa Pinto, IOM and Amy Bassett joined the celebration of the WREN: Women's Rural Entrepreneurial Network 30th anniversary. It was bittersweet to wish retiring executive director Pamela Sullivan much happiness in her next chapter and exciting to hear from new executive director Julia Webb on her vision of WREN's ongoing efforts to support, grow and sustain #womenbiz owners in #rural communities. It was a rich opportunity to engage with amazing artists who are all part of the #Creative #Economy in the north country.

as SBA New Hampshire District Office wraps up our recognition of #nationalretailers month a big thank you 👏 to John Nyhan of the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce for organizing and joining on visits to members and retailers in Hampton and Seabrook. At Curriers Leather Furniture owner Stephen Currier gave us a tour of this long term family owned business emphasizing the importance of #customerservice and knowing your market. Next stop was OBRIENS GENERAL STORE, INC an icon is Seabrook that will celebrate 50 years in 2025 with Carmel O'Brien still at the helm. It was great to see Lisa Stonesifer of Newburyport Bank, a valued SBA lending partner and chamber board chair. We wrapped up with sweet treats at Huckleberry's Candies meeting owner Caren MacAskill who purchased a long term candy store and thankfully still makes many of Sanborn Candies beloved confections and then met Angela Bramante owner of Drinkwater Flowers & Design who shared her story of resiliancy. Terrific way to wrap up an eventful month, meeting #smallbiz owners where they are. Amy Bassett Miguel Moralez Steve Aldrich Robin LaPointe Tina Kasim

#HBD U.S. Small Business Administration! SBA New Hampshire District Office lender relation specialist recognizes Franklin Savings Bank as the first SBA New Hampshire District Office participating lender that signed on to provide SBA backed loans way back in 1953. #longevity #smallbiz #capital
Today marks the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) 71st year helping millions of Americans reach the American Dream of business ownership. The SBA New Hampshire District Office is proud to celebrate this milestone alongside a lender who signed up in 1953 to utilize our programs, services, and resources to assist small business ownership. Lender Relations Specialist Tuesday Perkins visited the main branch of Franklin Savings Bank (FSB), in Franklin, NH to present them with a certificate commemorating the 71 years of offering SBA loans to the public. While FSB has been in business for over 150 years, they have grasped the opportunities to extend to their community members the ability to become a small business owner, one of these opportunities being offering #SBAbackedloans. While U.S. SBA celebrates our 71st birthday, we also celebrate the 71st anniversary of a solid partnership with FSB and look forward to many more. #71 #tuesdaytalks #nhsba Amy Bassett Jenn Prince Miguel Moralez Theresa Pinto, IOM #communitylender #birthday #anniversary #locallybanknh #smallbusiness Jenn Prince Jon Jones Shane Brewer Ken Sawyer Michael Duval Todd Watson Brian Bozak Jim Dubois
