Scattered rain this weekend, coastal storm possible next week!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Most of the Lowcountry is remaining dry this afternoon, but rain chances could become spotty as we build in daytime heating! An increase in moisture with a stalled frontal boundary offshore and the remnants of Francine to our west will lead to a slightly better rain chance for the rest of the day. Spotty rain and a mostly cloudy sky is expected with highs in the mid 80s. Over the weekend, we expect a better chance of a few showers and storms with highs in the low 80s. There will be plenty of dry time both Saturday and Sunday.
