Whether you’re looking to travel by bus, train, bike or foot, there are many places in Cornwall that you can visit without a car.

Antony
Go Cornwall Bus service from Plymouth Royal Parade or Cremyll stops 0.8 mile from Antony. Devonport Station in Plymouth is the nearest train station, where you can complete your journey via the Torpoint Ferry or the Go Cornwall Bus. National Cycle route 27 passes approximately 2 miles away.Plan your visit
Boscastle
Go Cornwall Bus service from Bude to Wadebridge stops by the Cornwall Council car park and toilets, from there is it a short walk to the harbour. National Cycle route 3 passes approximately 5 miles away at Collamoor Head on the A39. The South West Coast Path passes through Boscastle harbour.Plan your visit
Botallack
Bus services run from Penzance and stop at the Queens Arms, from there it is approximately a 0.4 mile walk. The South West Coast Path runs past Botallack Count House, located near the village of Botallack.Plan your visit
Cotehele
Go Cornwall Bus service stops at Calstock Quay, which is approximately a 1.5 mile walk along the River Tamar, up a steep hill and through the woods. Calstock Train Station is a 1.5 mile walk away, along the River Tamar, up a steep hill and through the woods.Plan your visit

Crantock Beach
Go Cornwall Bus service stops by the round garden in Crantock village, which is approximately ½ mile from the beach. Newquay Station is the closest train station (4 miles), where you can complete your journey by bus. The South West Coast Path runs through the National Trust car park and across Rushey Green.Plan your visit
East Pool Mine
There are frequent bus services from Penzance, St Ives and Truro. The closest train stations are Reduth and Camborne (both 2 miles away), where you can complete your journey by bus. National Cycle Route 3 is ½ mile away.Plan your visit

Glendurgan Garden
Bus services run from Falmouth Moor (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) and stop at the entrance to Glendurgan Garden. The nearest train stations are Penmere and Falmouth Town, where you can complete your journey by bus. You can walk the South West Coast Path from Falmouth to Durgan village and enter the bottom of the garden from the village.Plan your visit
Godolphin
The bus service from Helston to Camborne stops approximately 0.8 miles away, and the bus service from Penzance to Camborne stops approximately 1.1 miles away.Plan your visit
Godrevy
Bus services stop at Gwithian village, from there is it a short walk to Godrevy beach and Godrevy Point. National Cycle route 3 runs through nearby Hayle and Camborne.Plan your visit
Holywell
Go Cornwall Bus service stops at Tregurth Inn, which is a 300 yard walk to the beach. Newquay Station is the closest train station (3.5 miles), where you can complete your journey by bus. Holywell is on the South West Coast Path.Plan your visit
Kynance Cove
First Bus service stops at Lizard village green, which is approximately 2 miles from Kynance.Plan your visit
Lanhydrock
Bodmin Parkway is the nearest train station and is 1 ¾ miles away via original carriage-drive to house and is signposted in the station’s car park. From Bodmin town centre, it is a 2.5 mile walk to the Park Café. National Cycle route 3 passes by the entrance.Plan your visit
Levant Mine and Beam Engine
Bus services stop 1 mile away. The South West Coast Path passes the entrance.Plan your visit

Penrose
The bus service from Penzance to Falmouth stops at Porthleven. If travelling by bicycle, from Porthleven take the coast road to Penrose Hill where you will find rides throughout the parkland and woodland.Plan your visit
Pentire
Go Cornwall Bus service stops at the beach in Polzeath, from there it is about a 20 minute walk. The South West Coast Path runs around the headland, just north of Polzeath.Plan your visit
St Michael's Mount
When the tide is high, access to the island is via boat. At low tide, walk the ancient causeway to the island (the causeway is cobbled, uneven and can be tricky to navigate), it takes approximately 15 minutes to walk. Penzance train station is 3 miles away from Marazion, and the bus service from Penzance to Helston stops in Marazion. National Cycle route 3 passes within 1 mile of the boat landings.Plan your visit
Tintagel Old Post Office
The bus service from Wadebridge to Bude stops outside Tintagel Hardware store. The South West Cost path is within ¾ mile, Tintagel Old Post Office is opposite King Arthur’s Arms pub, in the middle of Fore Street.Plan your visit
Trelissick
The bus service from Truro, Lemon Quay to Feock runs direct to Trelissick. The nearest train station is at Truro (5 miles away), where you can complete your journey by bus. National Cycle route 3 passes through Trelissick, and bike racks are available.Plan your visit
Trengwainton Garden
The bus service from Penzance station stops directly outside the garden entrance. The closest train station is in Penzance (2 miles away), you can then complete your journey by bus. National Cycle route 3 is 2 ½ miles away, there are bike racks available by visitor reception.Plan your visit
Trerice
Bus services stop at Kestle Mill, which is a ¾ mile inclined walk. Quintrell Downs is the nearest train station (1 ½ miles), but it is worth noting there are no taxi services at this station. Trerice is on National Cycle route 32.Plan your visit
Trevose Head
Go Cornwall Bus service stops at Harlyn Bay, which is approximately 2 miles away from Trevose Head.Plan your visit
