I’m at your service as the State Representative for House District 49, which comprises Troutdale, Fairview, Wood Village, Northern Gresham, and part of East Portland. I am the Chair of the House Higher Education Committee and Vice Chair of the House Education Committee, and I serve on the House Labor and Workforce Standards Committee.

In the 2023-2024 legislative session, I joined my colleagues in passing bills to improve public safety, fight homelessness, and make Oregon a safer and fairer place to work. We secured $3.15 million to expand the East Metro Outreach and Prevention Initiative (EMOPI). This program brings young people, community groups, and law enforcement together to address the root causes of violence in East Multnomah County through mentorship, recreation, life-skills training, and crisis intervention. I also secured $500,000 to improve fire and emergency training in East Multnomah County. Now that the session is over, I am working in-district until the 2025 legislative session begins in January.
