While on assignment in Oahu, Hawaii, military contractor Brian Gilcrest (Bradley Cooper) reconnects with his old flame Tracy Woodside (Rachel McAdams), now married to an Air Force recruit (John Krasinski). I guess most people don’t get the spiritual significance of the movie. If you have a connection to the Hawaiian culture, history and people, you for sure get it. There’s a very profound and deep truth in this movie and it moved me deeply.

The pace was weird, cast was Stella but WTH? Why does Hollywood make kids all introspective and intelligent like they do? That’s not how kids are. All the mission military lingo went right over our heads. It’s like the whole movie was damn near a “you had to be there” inside joke.
