    THURSDAY PAINTERS: JULY & AUGUST 2020

    All painters invited. 9 AM–Noon with a critique during lunch.

    Jul 9: Rosa Butron de Canet de Simmler Adobe, 466 Dana St, SLO. Built in 1845. Access via garden gate. Alternate: Heyd
    Adobe, 614 Monterey St, SLO. Built in 1939. Boarded-up and city-owned; no site access. Paint from sidewalk.
    Jul 16: Sauer Adobe and Sauer-Adams Adobe, 964 Chorro St, SLO. Sauer Adobe is the white dress shop next to the Sauer-
    Adams Adobe, across from the Mission de Tolosa. Built between 1801–1810. Permission to work in back garden between
    adobe and cottage, as well as inside adobe.
    Jul 23: Andrews Adobe, 1451 Andrews St, SLO. Privately owned—do not enter property. Paint from sidewalk. Alternate: Smith
    Adobe, corner of Longview and Hathaway St, across from Cal Poly campus, SLO. Parking is scarce but possible. Relatively
    new adobe designed by a Cal Poly professor and built by students. Currently occupied so please don’t disturb residents. Work
    on sidewalk.
    Aug 6: Bay Shore Bluffs Park, Morro Bay. Parking and restrooms and great views of the bay.
    Aug 13: Harmony town, Harmony. Park alongside main road and paint the quaint old Post Office and Pottery and a couple old
    houses.
    Aug 20: Laguna Lake, SLO. Go to the end of the park road, or paint anywhere along lake.
    Aug 27: Bishops Peak, 221 Daly Ave, SLO. Park at the farthest end away from the Nativity of our Lady Catholic Church. We’ve
    also been given permission to use their facilities. Great views of BP in the spring time! u
