Wolverine Pattern 1

All except eyes and strips is needle felt. This pattern do not
include needle felt technique.

**I prefer needle felt technique for the strips because ethsi
will make the body less bulky.

Abbreviation
Sc: single crochet
Dc: Double crochet
Hdc: Half double crochet
Inc: increase stitch
Dec: decrease stitch
St: stitch
Sl st: Slip stitch
Tr: triple crochet

Head
Start with yellow yarn – the marker that indicate the row st is important.

1. Magic ring: 8
2. Inc sc around (16)
3. *1 sc, inc* and repeat * around (24)
4. *2 sc, inc* and repeat * around (32)
5. *3 sc, inc* and repeat * around (40)
6. *4 sc, inc* and repeat * around (48)
7. *5 sc, inc* and repeat * around (56)
8-15. Sc around 8 times (56)
16. *crochet on 1 front loop – 14sc*, 13sl st, *crochet on 1 front loop -

the yarn attached, do not cut.
17. Slip the beige yarn on the inner st. Sc around (56) – Image 1

Wolverine Pattern 3

Hand, Arm & Shoulder


**Make 2 sets of each – Left and right arm.
Claws: This is done by wrapping a grey yarn on a wire. Long tail is left at the end of the wrap so that this
can be sewn onto the hand.

Hand:
Use blue yarn
Cluster Stitch: *Yarn over, insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over, draw the yarn through the
stitch, yarn over, draw the yarn through 2 loops on the hook*. Repeat * 3 times. Yarn over and draw the
yarn through all 5 loops on the hook.

1. Magic Ring: 6
2. Inc sc around (12)
4. *1sc, inc* and repeat * around (18)
5. *cluster stitch*, 17sc (18)
6. *1sc, dec* and repeat * around (12)
7. Sc around (12)
8. Crochet only on front loop - *1sc, inc* and repeat * around (18)

*You can start Arm section here for 2 rows and then only back to row 9 of Hand section.

Arm 1:

Foot and Leg


**Make 2 sets of each – Left and right foot.

Foot
Use Navy Blue Yarn (or any blue yarn)
1. Magic Ring 6 (6)
2. *3sc in the first st, 2sc in the next, 1sc in the next* and repeat * once (12)
3. Sc, 3sc inc, 3sc, 3sc inc, 2sc (18)
4. 2sc, inc, [sc, inc]x2, 4sc, inc, [sc, inc]x2, 2sc (24)
5. hdc around only on the back loops (24)
6-7. Sc around for 2 times (24)
8. 2sc, 5dec, 6sc, dec, 4sc (18)
9. 3sc, dec, 13sc (17)
10-11. Sc around for 2 times (17)
12. *crochet only on the front loop* hdc, 7sc, 3hdc, 4sc, 2hdc (17)
13. Fasten Off

**Optional**
Use Dark Blue yarn.
1. Slip the yarn at the middle section of the foot (Image 3a) and slip st all the way up (Image 3b).
2. sc, hdc, dc, tr inc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st. From here, sl st downwards (Image 3c) and when you reach the
bottom, ch 1 and sl st upwards an ch 1.
3. sc, hdc, dc, tr inc, dc, hdc, 2 sc, sl st. From here, sl st downwards back to where the yarn is slip on
#1. Fasten Off and hide yarn

Leg
Use Yellow Yarn
1-7. Sc around on the back loop of row 12 on “Foot” section”
**Row 1-5, use a hook that is of smaller size (0.5 smaller).
8. Fasten Off (only on one leg)

**The first leg (left) you need to fasten off and weave the tail (hide the tai). For the second leg (right),
do not cut the yarn. This will be continued for the body section.

Wolverine Pattern 5

BODY
The working piece should be on your right (Image 4):

1. Locate the inner middle section of your left leg and do a sc. Do a single
crochet on the remaining 16 st on the left leg. Then do a single crochet on
the remaining 17 st on the right leg. (34)
2. 2sc inc, 13sc, 3sc inc, 15sc, inc (40)
3-4. Sc around for 2 times (40)
5. 11sc, inc, 19sc, inc, 8sc (42)
6. Sc around (42)
7. *5sc, dec* and repeat * around (36)
8-9. Sc around for 2 times (36)
10. *4sc, dec* and repeat * around (30) Image 4
11-16. Sc around (30)
17. *2sc, dec* and repeat * around, sc in the last 2 st (23)
18. dec around and sc in the last st (12)
19. Fasten Off

Sewing:
The body will be sewn to the head – the opening of the body should match
with the opening of the head.

Pants

Use Navy Blue Yarn (or any blue yarn)


1. Chain 36 and slip ch into the first ch making a loop (36). Slip loop into the main body – Image 5
2. Sc around (36)
3. Dec, 9sc dec, ch 1, turn (11)
4. Dec, 7sc, dec, ch 1, turn (9)
5. Dec, 5sc, dec, ch 1, turn (7)
6. Dec, 3sc, dec, ch 1, turn (5)
7-9. Sc across for 3 times (5)
10. Inc, 3sc, inc, ch 1, turn (7)
11. Inc, 5sc, inc, ch 1, turn (9)
12. Inc, 7sc inc, ch 1, turn (11) – place the piece to the back (Image 5b)
13. Slip st onto the st on row 2
14. Fasten Off blue yarn and hide the yarn
15. Slip red yarn at the top and do a sc around. Fasten Off and leave tail for sewing – Image 5c
