The plot summary of Black Panther

Thousands of years ago, 5 African tribes war over meteorite containing the metal vibranium.
One warrior ingest a “heart-shaped herb” affected by the metal and gains superhuman abilities,
becoming the first “Black Panther”. He unites all but the Jabari Tribe to form the nation of Wakanda.
Over centuries, the Wakandas use the vibranium to develop advance technology and isolated
themselves from the world by posing as a Third World country. In 1992, Wakanda’s King T’Chaka
visit his brother, N’Jobu who is working undercover in Oakland California. T’Chaka accuses N’Jobu of
assisting black-market arms dealer Ulysses Klaue with stealing vibranium from Wakanda. N’Jobu
partner reveals he is Zuri, another undercover Wakandan and confirm T’Chakas suspicious.

In the present days, following T’Chaka death, his son T’Challa returns to Wakanda to assume
the throne. He and Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje regiment, extract T’Challa ex-lover Nakia
from an undercover assignment so she can attend his coronation ceremony with his mother
Ramonda and younger sister Shuri. At the ceremony, the Yabari Tribe leader M’Baku challenges
T’Challa for the crown in ritual combat. T’Challa defeat M’Baku and persuade him to yield rather
than die. When Klaue and his accomplice Erik Stevens steal Wakandan artefact from a London
museum, T’Challa’s friends and Okoye’s lover W’Kabi urges him to bring Klaue back alive.

T’Challa, Okoye and Nakia travel to Busan South Korea, where Kalue plan to sell the artefact
to CIA agent Everett K,Ross. A firefight erupt and Klaue attempt to flee but is caught by T’Challa who
reluctantly release him to Ross’s custody. Klaue fell Ross that Wakanda international image is a front
of technologically advance civilization. Erik attack and extract Klaue as Ross is gravely injured
protecting Nakia. Rather than persuade Klaue, T’Challa takes Ross to Wakanda, where technology
can save him. While Shuri heals Ross, T’Challa confront Zuri about N’Jobu. Zuri explained that N’Jobu
planned to share Wakanda technologies with people of African descent around the world to help
them conquer their oppressors.

As T’Chaka arrested N’Jobu, the latter attacked Zuri and force T’Chaka to kill him. T’Chaka
ordered Zuri to lie that N’Jobu has disappeared and left behind N’Jobu American son in order to
maintain the lie. This boy grew up to be Steven, U.S. black ops soldier who adopted the name
“Killmonger”. Meanwhile, Killmonger kill Klaue and take his body to Wakanda. He is brought before
the tribal elders, revealing his identity to be N’Jadaka and claim to the name. Killmonger challenges
T’Challa to ritual combat, where he kill Zuri, defeat T’Challa and hurls him over a waterfall to
persuade death. Killmonger ingests the heart-shaped herb and orders the rest incinerated but Nakia
extract one first.

Killmonger, supported by W’Kabi and his army, prepared to distributes shipment from
Wakandan weapons to operatives around the world. Nakia, Ramond, Shuri and Ross flee to the
Jabari Tribe for aid. They find a comatose T’Challa, Rescued by the Jabari in payment for sparing
M’Baku life. Healed by Nakia’s herb, T’Challa return to fight Killmonger, who dons his own Black
Panther suit. W’Kabi and his army fight, Shuri, Nakia and Dora Milaje, while Ross remotely pilot a jet
and shot down plane carrying the vibranium weapons. M’Baku and the Jabari arrive to reinforce
T’Challa. Confronted by Okoye, W’Kabi and his army stand down. Fighting in Wakanda vibranium
mine, T’Challa disrupts Killmonger suits and stabs him.

Killmonger refuse to be healed, choosing to die a free man rather than be incarcerated.
T’Challa establishes and outreach cense at the building, where N’Jobu died to be run by Nakia and
Shuri. In mid scene, T’Challa appears from the United Nation to reveal Wakanda true nature to the
world in post-credit scene, Shuri helps Bucky Barnes with his recuperation.
